Often we think of marriage as the joining of two people. In reality, many times marriage is much broader. It is also the coming together and merging of family and friends. This is even more apparent when the bride and/or groom have children. With children present, the wedding ceremony also becomes the proclaiming of a new family. I work with you to create a ‘blending’ ceremony so that every member of the new family feels important and included on this wonderful day.

The blending ceremony can be as simple as joining of sand; sometimes it is more lighthearted with the creation of a blended 'ice cream sundae" or colorful M&Ms! I am very creative and flexible. Your ceremony can be very serious and traditional or fun and light in nature, religious in nature or civil with the words of love adding the spirituality.

If I am selected by you, I will supply you with files for the creation of your own, unique or traditional wedding ceremony. I will be working with you; answering any questions you may have every step of the way. You may use my help as little or as much as you want.

I encourage you to customize your ceremony so that it reflects who you are and how you would speak your love to one another. You do not have to use any of the helps or sample ceremonies I provide; sometimes the Bride and Groom create the wedding ceremony from beginning to end ! I help make this process as easy as possible. My easy system has only 4 steps but many many unique choices!

I love weddings that are performed outdoors; they are both beautiful and more affordable. Virginia is rich in natural beauty and brilliant sunshine! I have many suggestions of outdoor venues you may not have known existed, places where I have helped with beautiful weddings. When planning an outdoor wedding, it is always imperative that it includes a bad weather backup plan such as an alternate location or a tent.

I provide a small PA system that is battery powered, rechargeable and Ipod ready that includes a microphone so the ceremony can be heard and understood by all the guests, even if the surf is crashing behind us. I do not provide an Ipod, so if you would like to use this feature for your music, please make arrangements for bringing one and a person to queue the music for you.
